Boat trip to Turtle Island
Enjoy a whole day at sea with Undiscovered Thailand. You will be picked up by bus at your holiday accommodation between 9:00 to 9:30. The boat leaves from the pier in Mae Phim. Food and drink will be served on the boat and you have the opportunity to swim off the boat. You get a guided tour of Turtle Island that is under the Queen of Thailand’s concern. The turtles’ breeding is assured through various projects on the island. However, do not expect to see wild turtles. You’re back at the house about 15: 30-16: 30
Price:
The price includes transportation to and from the pier, food and drinks on the boat. Bring: Swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and life jackets for children.
Booking Conditions: Book a trip on Sun4U’s office. It is wise to book well in advance. The trips are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and they often get fully booked during high season. You pay on arrival to the boat (400 Baht will be charged if you need to cancell the trip ) The boat trip can be cancelled on short notice if the weather conditions are rough in that case you want be charged anything.
MS/Sunflower Boat
When you go on a trip with MS Sunflower you will get personalized service, good food and comfortable seats. This boat can be arranged according to your wishes. You will go around the islands of Koh Samed or thereabouts. You can swim and snorkel from the boat and you stop off at an empty beach for a barbecue.

Food on the boat is included. Drinks can be purchased on the boat at an extra cost.
Transport go and back to Ban Phe: 1400 baht for small car (up to 4 passengers and limited luggage space) 1800 Baht minibus (up to 10 passengers)
You can also go with the local bus. The bus pass Buffallo bill a bit after every hole hour and cost apr 30 baht/trip. The trip to Ban Phe takes for about 30-40 minutes.
Bring: Swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and life jackets for children.

Classic Forest Restaurant/Water park
The most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been to! That is one of the reviews we have received about this restaurant. Dine surrounded by black swans swimming in a pond, in beautiful jungle setting. In the evening the restaurant is lit up in a beautiful glow and live music is common. Adjacent to the restaurant, you can visit a beautiful swimming area and for a small entrance, ride water slides, swing on vines or climb the obstacle course set on the lake. The Classic Forest excursion is suitable for all ages. For the youngest there is a children’s pool.

The Tuesday market in Klaeng
Every Tuesday the market opens in Klaeng. This Is a local market and you will probably not see many other tourists. The locals however, can be quite curious of you. You can find anything and everything at this market! Food, clothing, frogs, tools, even an ice-drilling has been spotted. The visit to the market is an extraordinary experience of scents, flavours and sounds and many other impressions.
Take the opportunity to buy your dinner here but don’t expect any branded copies. The market opens at about 16:00 and continues until 21:00. The best time to visit the market is between 18:00-20: 00

Kao Chao Mao Waterfalls
It offers an nature experience beyond the ordinary. The waterfall extends several levels over a distance of several kilometers. You choose how many levels you want to cover. It is wise to have walk able shoes or rubber boots on and many gallons of water in your backpack. For an additional 500 baht you can make a detour to the local restaurant Bali Yong on the way home. There is a restaurant that we warmly recommend . It is very nice furnishings and almost no other tourist will find here.

MaePhim’s most popular beaches are located along the road to Ban Phe, you will see the sign on your left. Coca Cola Beach is located about 2 km from MaePhim. Kim and Ken’s are beach about 5 km from MaePhim.
